Dub-Stuy is a Brooklyn-based collective representing sound system culture for the 21st century. Taking inspiration from its 15,000 watt speaker stack, the collective brings together DJs, vocalists, producers, and sound system engineers for a full spectrum representation of the culture.

Dub-Stuy releases have featured international vocal guests and remixers such as Ranking Joe , Brother Culture , Miss Red , Junior Dread , Radikal Guru , and Moresounds. One of the crew’s two main selectors, 187 Sound, will be present in Bucharest to bring the Dub-Stuy vision and sound.

Dub-Stuy events have included block parties, underground club nights as well as festival stages and have featured guests such as Ali Shaheed Muhammad , Channel One , Mungo’s Hi-Fi , OBF , Dubkasm , Om Unit and Gorgon Sound. Dub-Stuy’s affiliated label has grown into a dedicated home for sound system music in both the US and abroad with 12” singles, albums, and EPs from a growing roster of up and coming and veteran artists such as Tour de Force , Dubamine , Bukkha , and DJ Madd.
